SIU BUENOS AIRES 2016
YURO members recently attended the 36th congress of the Societe Interntional d'Urologie (SIU) in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Our handle @AusYURO, your YURO Chairman @lawrentschuk and your YURO President @DocToddManning maintained significant SoMe presence and were both in the top 10 for mentions and influence.
A HUGE congratulations to Vice President @dan_christidis Winner of Best Abstract for the conference. Additional congratulations to Co-Chairman @damien_bolton, elected to SIU board, certainly a worthy candidate.
Congratulations also to President @DocToddManning, Treasurer @dr_shanza, Ethics and Liason Officer @drmunadkhan and University of Melbourne Student Representative Mr Jonothan O'Brien for the presentation of their respective research projects also.
YURO members rubbed shoulders with the Urological elite both in Australia and Globally and enjoyed forging connections with many. A special mention must go to Professor Seth Learner and Professor Shahrokh Shariat (@DrShariat) who kindly listened to our ideas on future direction (see picture below).
Special mention also to Chairman of Australasian Urological Fund (AUF) Mr. Michael Rochford for discussing YURO's collaborative initiative (see picture below).
The team hopes that YURO members remained updated via SoMe regarding the incredible contemporary updates in Urology from across the globe. We look forward to bringing you more updates at the large global conferences in the future.
